Most people here are genuine. These habits keep you safe from the few who aren't.
Before you meet
- Talk on the phone and on a video call before meeting.
- Involve your family early and share the profile ID with them.
- Check details yourself: workplace, education and family background.
When you meet
- Meet in a public place for the first time, and tell someone where you are.
- Arrange your own travel to and from the meeting.
Never
- Send money to someone you met online, whatever the reason or emergency.
- Share bank details, OTPs, or ID documents.
- Agree to any dowry demand. It is illegal under the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
